First shower of monsoons are always welcomed as they are full of life and save us from the scorching heat of the sun.Monsoons also invite lots of diseases and health disorders.Extra care is needed to deal with such disorders.Cold and Fever are the common diseases during monsoon.
Illness during monsoons can be caused due to infection in respiratory system or due to any food borne diseases.
Cold,Flu,Dengue,Water infection,food infection,cholera are some of the common diseases during monsoons.Therefore proper intake of food becomes very necessary so as to increase the immunity of the body.
Some precautions that should be taken during monsoons are-
1)Take shower after being wet in rain as it protects from deadly infections.
2)Take hot drinks such as adrak tea,vegetable soup,milk, it protects you from? developing any kind of infection.
3)Don?t? enter the air conditioned room with damp clothes.
4)Drink 10-15 glasses of water everyday.
5)Avoid fast food and try to eat nutritious food and maintain hygiene inside the house.
6)Wash vegetables properly and cook them at proper steam to kill germs.
7)Drink boiled water mixed with honey after cooling.
8)In case of typhoid, increase the intake of fluids and electrolyte to prevent dehydration.
9)In case of cold increase the intake of Vitamin C as it it helps in activating the antibodies in body.
10)In case of malaria keep your home protected against mosquitoes,use mosquito nets,repellents,aerosol space sprays etc .Take anti malarial drugs such as Chloroquine.
