XXC Magazine #13 Publishes :

I am happy to say that after 2+ months of work XXC #13 was finally?published today. I have a reason to like every issue of XXC Magazine, but I can honestly say this is one of my favorites, if not the favorite.

The latest edition of XXC Magazine is jammed with amazing stories and recaps from the world of endurance mountain biking and all day adventures in the dirt. What I like most about this issue ,is that for the most part, the recaps go beyond ?Rider X? beat ?Rider C? by how much, and get personal with the pain, emotion, humor, and let?s face it ? the occasional absurdity ? that can be endurance mountain bike racing.

Recaps that don?t just capture what happened IN the race, but before, after and on the way to the race as well. Recaps that aren?t just from race winners, but also from folks (myself included) who are just happy to compete, push themselves and be part of the world of endurance mountain biking.

One of my favorite quotes from this issue came from Jason Hilimire?s recap of the Steamboat Stinger. Jason is a talented racer and coach, but he was having an off day at the Stinger. Still, he managed to have a great time and in his recap he says ?When I finally rolled across the finish line, I was more than content. I was ecstatic. I was nowhere near the front of the race, but I had found the feelings that I had when I originally began the sport of mountain biking 15 years ago; that pure enjoyment of riding for the sake of bike riding, because it?s what you do, it?s who you are and you love it.?

Cheers to that Jason!

I of course could go on with the various other quotes from XXC #13 that I love, but what I would really like is for you to read the mag and see them for yourself. I would love the support with a purchase of a mag, stickers, or shirt, but what I really want is for you to read it, and to enjoy it (which you can do for free if you want). Because to paraphrase Jason?s quote above- XXC Mag is what I do, it?s who I am, and I want you to enjoy it.

To preview or purchase a digital copy of XXC Magazine visit the eMag page and remember that you can get a free digital download with every purchase from the XXC Magazine Store (Which by the way, a new shipment of XXC Dirt & Gravel Club tees are coming in very soon!

In closing I have to thank all of the contributors of XXC Mag. None of you are getting rich off what I can do for you in exchange for your talents, so to have you all be part of XXC Magazine is really special and I thank you. Check out the contents page of the mag, for many you will see their web sites and blogs listed. I urge you to check them out.

Thanks again, and I hope you all enjoy this issue.
