petbulls: Rally Wins!

Today, gekko and Cherry competed in the Greater Washington Bouvier des Flandres Club Obedience and Rally Trials; they Qualified with an 80/100 -- 70 is required to Q -- which gained the third and final leg on Cherry's Rally Novice (RN) title! And then, after all of the individual and pairs (one handler, two dogs simultaneously) Rally events were complete, the Rally Team competition got underway! There were two teams competing, Team Bouvier (or Team Fluffybutts, or Team Bitches and Bouviers, depending whom you asked, :D) consisting of four Bouviers des Flandres, and Team Dude Ranch (or Guinness and The Bitches), consisting of gekko (Cherry the AmStaff), her boss Toshiko (Gina the Bouvier), and her coworkers Krista (Tokie the Duck Toller) and Monica (Guinness the Irish Wolfhound). In this competition, each member of the team competes sequentially on the same course, with the standard points deductions from 100 for each competitor, no NQs (meaning unlimited penalties), and each team member starts relay-style as soon as the previous member finishes.

The Bouviers were up first, and did pretty well; Team Dude Ranch was up second, and also did pretty well, even if most of the dogs didn't feel like sitting at many of the stations -- and when the scores were tallied, well...
