Olivers Twist expected to be dominant in Cearnsport Grand National - Heat 4
Olivers Twist is expected to dominate proceedings in the Cearnsport Grand National - Heat 4 at Sittingbourne in England on Sunday, August 5, 2012. The triumphant greyhound will walk away with a cash prize of ?150 in the end.
The competition will start at 19:14 GMT and six decent runners will be entertaining the spectators with their skills. They will have to be up to the mark in order to complete the 480 metres race over hurdles, which will test their stamina.
Although the level of competition will be quite high in the Grade OR event, yet no one seems to be in a position to match the skills of Olivers Twist who, is in spectacular form at the moment. He has been performing brilliantly over hurdles and seems to enjoy such events.
The skilful hound has been given a general starting price of 1 to 2 by the bookmakers, which clearly shows that they are also expecting him to finish at the top with ease. He will definitely get the attention of the punters, who will not have too many other options today.
The L. Stephenson?s trainee made his first appearance in December 2009 and nothing could be judged with his performance, since it was a solo run. This was the only run for him that year and he started the next season on a positive note.
Head Bound?s son out of Kewell Irony was competitive in almost every race he took part in, but was unable to win with consistency. This was not a positive sign for his team, but things started working out well for him towards the end of 2010.
Olivers Twist carried his good form in the 2011 season and delivered some memorable results for his team. He started winning with consistency and finished that year on a high, winning a Grade OR event comfortably.
In 2012, the black dog has participated in five Grade OR events and has managed to win all of them. There is a very good chance for him to continue his winning form. He is looking very much confident right now, as he was successful in his most recent run at Sittingbourne, winning by 2? lengths.
