Yahoo! News asked voters to pinpoint one single issue they'd like to see addressed at the Democratic National Convention. Here are one voter's thoughts.
When I listened to Sen. Barack Obama at a rally in Dover, N.H., in 2008, right before the first election, I thought he was the charismatic answer to all of America's problems. I really thought he would get the two parties to sit down, talk out the major issues and come to some agreement for the sake of all Americans.I was wrong. Now the president himself has given up, blaming the Republicans for their unwillingness to talk. I say every single politician in office is to blame. If we don't get the two parties to work together for the sake of American citizens (and not just themselves) now--then when? This time, Mr. President, you must do it.
