A&E's The Glades returned for its second round on Sunday, holding up decently compared to its series debut last summer.
The Matt Passmore drama drew 3 million total viewers to its 10 p.m. premiere, but with encores, that number goes up to 4.4 million. Last year's launch averaged 3.6 million, a record for an original A&E drama telecast.
In the adult demographics, The Glades -- a character-driven police procedural set in Florida -- remained steady from its series debut, notably in 25-54 (1.4 million) and 18-49 (1.2 million).
Over on the History Channel, the two-hour Season 5 premiere of Ice Road Truckers saw double-digit increases in total viewers (up 29 percent, 3.1 million) and the key demos (up 15 percent in 18-49, 1.7 million; up 21 percent in 25-54, 1.5 million) versus the fourth season debut.
