Barbara Vierra was appointed assistant vice president and customer service manager for Rabobank?s new Santa Rosa branch at?90 S. E St., responsible for customer service, hiring and training, and supervising all branch operations. A banker for 17 years and Petaluma resident, Ms. Vierra joins Rabobank after serving as a branch manager for Washington Mutual in Sonoma and Petaluma.

Bank of Marin hired?Matthew Bartlett?as a vice president and commercial loan officer with expertise in wine industry?lending.?He will join the Commercial Banking Group and be based in the bank?s Napa and Santa Rosa offices. Previously, he was a senior loan officer in American AgCredit?s North Coast area. He graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo and is enrolled in Sonoma State University?s Wine Business MBA program.

John Meislahn, vice president at Exchange Bank, was promoted to manager of the newly formed Sales and Business Development Department. He will oversee business development officers and the home mortgage agents. He has been with the bank for 15 years, most recently as manager of the Santa Rosa main office.

Paul Nightingale was appointed country manager for Enphase Energy, Inc. as the company enters the United Kingdom solar energy market. Enphase Energy UK will service England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He has more than 20 years of management experience. He recently served as U.K. country manager for a multinational solar inverter company.

Health Care

Lloyd Miyawaki, M.D., medical director at Marin General Hospital?s Marin Cancer Institute, was honored on?March 20?by the Marin Prostate Cancer Information and Support Group with the group?s Physician Award for ?invaluable contributions to the prostate cancer community.? Presenting the award was?Stan Rosenfeld, decade-long moderator for group and two-decade advocate for research and support.

Hospitality and Tourism?

Silverado Resort and Spa hired Stacey Turner as its new wedding specialist. She has more than a decade of hospitality experience, most recently as a wedding specialist and catering sales manager for Arizona Golf Resort after serving in that role at Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort & Suites. She is an active member of both the National Association of Catering Executives and Association of Bridal Consultants and is a Wedding Certified Planner through Marriott International.

Jenay Cottrell has joined LITA (Love is the Answer) in Marin as executive director. A former LITA board member and advisory board member, Ms. Cottrell brings more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing communications and community relations experience to this position. She previously ran a communications consulting business with clients including Marin General Hospital, Novato Community Hospital, Kaiser Permanente?s Northern California Region, and The Redwoods Retirement Community in Mill Valley. Prior to that, Ms. Cottrell worked in corporate communications management for Broderbund Software, Sprint Communications and Genstar Corporation.

Wine

Rebecca Geschwender?joined Grgich Hills Estate as California sales manager. In the state, Grgich sales are winery-direct, and she will direct five Grgich area managers plus brokers. She has more than 15 years of?wine industry?experience, including Southern Wine & Spirits, Wine Warehouse and increasing sales responsibility with Diageo, most recently as its?California?wine director of wine sales.
