If God is love, is love also God?
For example; All dogs are mammals, but not all mammals are dogs. Is this how the God/love idea works? I?d appreciate it if someone could try to seriously explain this Relationship between God and love to me.
And if you don?t believe God is love, that?s fine, I don?t either, just say no, take your two points and leave those who do believe to answer the question, thank you
Love is an internal chemical reaction to a subjectively perceived external stimulation. So is hate, there is not that much difference apart from an individuals subjective perception of it.
I don?t believe in giant invisible sky fairies waving magic wands, but in an allegorical sense god would be nearer to zero emotion, zero subjectivity, zero thought. Strange things start to happen at the zero point. Take absolute zero temperature or even quantum physics the smallest particle, the nearer you get to the zero point, matter suddenly transforms itself. Like it is in all places at the same time.
Meditation, shamanic trance, prayer for a direct purpose ( not to be mistaken for praying to god) etc
are routes to zero point in consciousness.
Lack of emotion is compassion, not emptiness. Emptiness is the result of depression and a loss of heart.
