A REPORT has revealed that a Crawley care home needs to make improvements to its service.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) carried out a routine inspection of Goffs Park Nursing Home on May 31.
The CQC found the home needs to improve in two out of five areas ? standards of staffing and management.
The report states: "People were not cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard."

The care home in Goffs Park Road, which looks after 37 elderly people, has improved since its last inspection on January 24, when it failed to meet standards in five out of six areas.
Operational manager Carole Saxby says the home, which has been open for 43 years, has "never had an issue" with the CQC.
Mrs Saxby added that Goffs Park has already addressed the main issues, lack of staff training and lack of an appraisal system, raised in the recent report.
She said: "Inspectors are here to advise us. Anything they are not happy with, we will rectify it. We now have more frequent training and appraisals are being done."
The CQC spoke to three members of staff about their understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005, which aims to protect people who cannot make decisions for themselves.
Two staff said that they did not know anything about the MCA.
Mrs Saxby said: "They didn't understand what they were asked."
A spokesman confirmed that the CQC would return to Goffs Park Nursing Home to reinspect it at a later date.
