NASHUA ? When a burglar struck her home last week, Anastasia Flemings lost more than some jewelry. The burglar robbed Flemings of her mother?s presence at her Wedding. Sometime during a 12-hour window on Oct. 17, a burglar entered her Middle Street home by smashing through a door, breaking its wooden frame. Flemings believes the burglary occurred during the day while she and her fiance, Paul Snow, were at work. None of the neighbors, including the family who lives upstairs in the two-apartment house, heard anything. The burglar made off with a jewelry box, its contents valued at about $3,000, Flemings said. But it wasn?t the monetary loss that stung. Among the items taken: A 90-year-old Wedding band that first belonged to Flemings? great-grandmother, and then was passed down through the family. Flemings? mother, Virginia Flemings, gave the family heirloom to Anastasia to wear on her Nov. ...
