Our client is a globally represented leader in the supply of?construction fasteners to civil and building construction companies around the world. This position presents the?opportunity?for a highly motivated performance driven Manager to play a pivotal role in the establishment of the business within South Africa.

The company already has a small business established within the Construction Fastening Industry and is motivated to develop this quite significantly. To this end they are looking to appoint a strategically oriented Sales Manager who can show a solid track record of success and who?has had some exposure to the Fastener industry.?Based in Cape Town and reporting to the company?s Australian based MD you will have the personal satisfaction of growing the business from its infancy.

?In addition your personal attributes should include:

• ?Self-Starting and motivated, performance driven Sales Manager
• Formal tertiary level education in construction engineering and/or marketing and sales management
• The proven ability to develop and lead a team of people to building a profitable business
• An understanding of the Construction industry would be an advantage
• A minimum of 5 years? experience in a Sales Management role preferably within a technical business environment within SA.
• The ability to communicate at a number of different levels, including end user contractor level.
• Comfortable with the use of power tools and understanding of?construction methods.
